Your pets are family, and PetArmor® helps you confidently care for your home—especially when it comes to flea and tick control. PetArmor® conveniently provides quality protection without the expense of a vet visit. PetArmor® Carpet Powder kills fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, flea pupae, and brown dog ticks hiding around your home. This flea and tick treatment for home covers 200 to 400 square feet and works for up to a year, effectively disrupting the flea life cycle. This home flea treatment starts working within 24 hours. To apply, shake powder evenly over affected areas. For maximum efficacy, allow the powder to remain in place for 24 hours before vacuuming. If you cannot stay off the treated areas for a full 24 hours, wait at least 1 hour before lightly vacuuming to remove visible surface powder.

  1. CAN I WALK ON THE CARPETS BEFORE THE PetArmor® HOME CARPET POWDER HAS BEEN VACUUMED UP? CAN MY PET BE IN THE HOUSE WHILE THE PRODUCT IS STILL DOWN?
    We do not recommend walking on the carpets while the powder is still down, and you will want to keep all pets off of the carpets until you have vacuumed the powder up. As long as you are able to restrict your pet to an area of the home that has not been treated with the powder, the animal can be in the home while the carpets are being treated. Once the powder has been vacuumed from the carpets, you, your children, and your pets are safe to return to your normal routine.
  1. THE PACKAGING INSTRUCTS TO LET THE POWDER STAY IN PLACE FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE VACUUMING. I HAVE NO WAY TO KEEP MYSELF, CHILDREN OR PETS OFF OF THE CARPETS FOR THIS TIME FRAME.
    Although the product will be most effective if you are able to leave it down for a full 24 hours, this is not mandatory. We do recommend that you leave the powder down for at least 1 hour before vacuuming it back up.
  1. HOW LONG WILL THE POWDER KILL ADULT FLEAS AND TICKS?
    This product will kill adult fleas and ticks for 14 to 30 days. The product will kill flea eggs, flea larvae, and flea pupae for up to 365 days.

PetArmor® Home Carpet Powder is for indoor use only. Kills adult fleas, brown dog ticks, flea eggs, flea larvae and flea pupae.

 

APPLYING THE PRODUCT
Shake container well before using. One 16 oz. canister contains enough powder to treat 1 to 2 rooms (200-400 square feet). When using this product at a lower rate, allow the powder to remain in place for 24 hours before vacuuming. Apply powder more heavily to areas of flooring or furniture on which pets spend most of their time.

 

Carpets: Shake powder evenly across surface. Brush lightly with broom to force powder deep into carpet where fleas and their larvae exist. Wait at least 60 minutes before (lightly) vacuuming to remove visible surface powder. For maximum efficacy, delay vacuuming for up to 24 hours.

 

Upholstery: Remove loose cushions. Sprinkle along creases and into corners. Use a brush to lightly work powder into folds and creases. Vacuum to remove visible powder on surfaces. Do not use on exposed fabric without first testing on a hidden surface for effects on color (staining) or texture. If powder adheres to a spot, brush out and remove with a vacuum immediately. When emptying vacuum bag after use, wrap contents or disposable bag in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. Treat pets with a registered flea and tick control product prior to re-entry.
