There have been no side effects and came recommended by my vet. The pills work with in a day or two and have not created any digestive problems or stomach upset. Because of their weight, each of them needed to take two tablets—but it wasn’t a problem at all. One of my dogs is extremely picky and usually snubs anything that smells even slightly like medicine, but he didn’t hesitate to eat these chews. JAKADA Oct 10, 2024 Used as a preventative I gave to my dogs as a preventative. I read other reviews that stated this dewormer was too strong and may upset dog’s stomach. So I took the 1 chewable and gave my 13 pound dogs 1/3 of it and my 46 pound dog the remaining. The little one ate it just fine but the bigger dog didn’t prefer the taste so I wrapped it in jerky. I also sprinkled a little activated charcoal (safe) on a separate piece of jerky to bind the ingredients in the chewable to prevent upset stomach and they were just fine. I didn’t check stool for worms because they are house dogs and not around other dogs or animals. Plus I cook their food weekly to eliminated health issues and problems. Product delivered overnight. Jul 7, 2024 Seen dead tape worms and no moving rice I gave this to my dog two weeks ago to the day, and this was after giving him a bath and finding a roundworm floating in there. They are not easily discernible so if you want to check your dog for worms, I suggest giving them a bath and try to see if anything is floating in there. That’s how I found them. I’m not a doctor or a vet and don’t claim to be, but if I would not have seen this, I would not have known. I put it in a cup and I noticed it had little pinchers on it. Yeah, gross. So I treated him and I didn’t see any worms. I had never seen any though. Then I take him to the vet two weeks later give the fecal sample and two days later he had moving little pieces of rice, which are a tapeworm I read. Also the stage of the parasite matters. They were first in an egg and I put it in the freezer, a fecal sample. Which I didn’t see anything in it. I took it out of the freezer to bring to the doctor, not knowing that you get a fresh sample and noticed there was a 2 inch worm that grew out of the Feces. So I treated him again yesterday and he did fine and there were not only no visible, moving grains of rice, there were pieces of what looked like linguine. Which is all tapeworm! I’m so happy my dog did not have any adverse effects and was treated twice which is common. You will want to consult your vet before you do the second round but I didn’t. I can’t afford to. And he’s great. He was a little sick yesterday just lethargic but not bad. Just like a child would be. So if you are afraid, I would see your vet first.
