Best thing I bought for my pup

This works so well for my English bulldog, he had a very bad hot spot on his neck which was getting worst as the days went by. My wife and I tried different solutions like sprays and cream but nothing worked. This product changed that, my dog loves when I apply it to his neck area and basically can't wait for it to be put on, the size of his infected area went down to almost disappearing.

Effective and Affordable Pet Care

This product is really great and definitely effective. I found it to be quite affordable in comparison to other products out there. What I liked most was that it was fast-acting and easy to apply. It provided my dog with relief from hot spots. It's also safe for dogs, which is of utmost importance to me. I'd also consider it a solid option for first aid treatment.

This blue gel is a MIRACLE

The ONLY over the counter treatment that works for hotspots!!! Other treatments that I have bought seem to sting and cause pain when they’re applied, and just make the hotspots worse. They don’t heal. This gel seems to be so soothing on the open wound, my dog gladly lets me apply it and it works so fast, the hotspot healed very quickly. THANK GOD!

## What a hot spot actually is

A hot spot is a red, moist, irritated patch of skin, often warm to the touch, that flares up when a dog rubs, scratches, or bites the same area. It itches intensely, which makes your dog keep at it — and that keeps the cycle going. Spotting it early and gently soothing the itch helps break that loop.

Fast, gentle relief

## Soothe the itch, calm the skin

PetArmor® Hot Spot Remedy is a fast-acting, no-alcohol formula made to soothe the itching, redness, and irritation that come with hot spots. It also cleans the affected area to help prevent infection, so your dog can finally get some relief from the discomfort.

A supportive first step

## Care at home, vet when needed

This remedy helps you take confident action the moment you notice a hot spot — but it's a supportive first step, not a replacement for your vet. If the area is severe, spreading, or not improving, or your dog seems unwell, reach out to your veterinarian for guidance.

## Frequently Asked Questions

Hot spots are red, moist, irritated patches that often feel warm to the touch. You may notice intense itching, constant licking, scratching or biting, hair loss around the area, and skin that looks raw or wet. They can appear suddenly and spread if your dog keeps at them, so early, gentle care helps.

PetArmor® Hot Spot Remedy is a fast-acting, no-alcohol formula that helps soothe the itching, redness, and irritation of hot spots caused by rubbing, scratching, and biting. It also cleans the area to help prevent infection. Think of it as a supportive first step for relief, not a replacement for veterinary care.

Gently clean and dry the area, then apply the remedy directly to the hot spot as directed on the label. Keeping the spot clean and discouraging your dog from licking or scratching gives the skin a chance to settle. Apply consistently and watch for steady improvement.

No. This is a no-alcohol formula designed to be gentle on already-irritated skin, so it helps soothe rather than sting. If your dog seems very sensitive or the area looks severe, check in with your veterinarian.

Yes — PetArmor® Hot Spot Remedy is intended for dogs and puppies over six weeks of age. For puppies six weeks old or younger, use the label directions to help answer any questions, or if you're unsure, talk with your veterinarian first.

At-home care can ease mild irritation, but see your veterinarian if the area is large, deep, oozing, spreading, painful, or not improving, or if your dog seems unwell. This remedy is a supportive first step for symptom relief, not a substitute for a vet's diagnosis and treatment.

It can be applied as often as needed. We would recommend applying no more than twice daily. If problem persists for more than one week, we would recommend consulting your veterinarian.

We recommend you try to prevent your dog from licking the product while it is still wet. PetArmor® Hot Spot Remedy dries fairly quickly, within about 10 minutes. Once the product is dry, there is no harm in your pet licking the product. If your pet does get a lick of the product, you may see some drooling or foaming. We recommend you give your pet a flavorful treat to help remove the undesirable taste from their mouth.

The ONLY over the counter treatment that works for hotspots!!! I’ve been using it for over 20 years because it’s the only thing that works. Other treatments that I have bought seem to sting and cause pain when they’re applied, and just make the hotspots worse. They don’t heal. This miraculous blue gel, seems to be so soothing on the open wound, my dog gladly lets me apply it and it works so fast, after only a few days hotspot is completely healed over. THANK GOD! I’m so happy that I can still find it on Amazon, because it’s very hard, if not impossible to find it on island.

Works

I have a Chihuahua who had hotspots put this on no more itching no more issues. She’s been doing really well. It helps soothe her itching would recommend you wet your hand before applying just to help it. Go on a little more smoothly and yes, your bottle is not going to be full Lol it’s like missing 1/4 of the bottle but I think that’s how they all come, but it’s worth the money

Hot spots on dogs

My ten year old rescue developed a hot spot right on the bottom of his back. It was not fun to watch him struggle with this hot spot so I tried multiple products, some natural some chemical and while most worked their magic it was this product that finished the hot spot and made all right as rain. Jasper gave me two paws up and kept it moving. We both recommend!

Works great

Healed and relieved my dog's hot spots within a week , small bottle if you have a big dog I recommend finding a larger bottle or order more than one . Turns kind of soapy and last on the irritated area for awhile. Smells good but not a strong scent that would affect people with sensitivity to strong smells . No chemical smell !!!

Worked on my cattle dog/ malinois mix.

I've only had to use this twice, sometimes i KY once to get my software to stop chewing on hot spots that has left him totally bald in those areas. Whether it's just the taste of it really has the right mix of medicine, it has worked each time.I just tip the bottle over and wet a finger to apply it. Works much better than the yellow liquid that uses to be sold for hot spots years ago

A Tail-Wagging Skin Remedy for Dogs!

I've been pretty happy with this skin remedy. It works like magic - fast-acting and non-stinging, a relief for both my pupper and me. The application isn't a tough task at all, making it a game-changer. It provides pet hot spot relief as well, and woah, it's just like aloe vera! Although the scent isn't its strongest suit and a few more natural ingredients wouldn't hurt. Overall though, it keeps the tail wagging and the skin healthy!

First Aid

This helped, cleaning the area with cool water I'm sure helped a bit too. Hot spots are usually an ongoing problem. anything that brings relief is welcome. Only issue is the smell, not horrible but could be better, of medicine doesn't have to smell or test good, it just has to work.
