    PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) can be used daily, as needed, to help treat and control an existing flea infestation. A monthly flea preventive is recommended for long-term prevention.
  1. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ADMINISTER PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram)?
    PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) is available as an oral flea tablet. Place the pill directly in your pet’s mouth or hide it in food. If you hide it in food, watch closely to make sure your pet swallows the pill. If you are not sure that your pet swallowed the pill, it is safe to give a second pill.
  1. HOW OFTEN CAN I ADMINISTER PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) TO MY PET?
    A single dose of PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) should kill the adult fleas on your pet. If your pet gets reinfested with fleas, you can safely give another dose as often as once a day.
  1. CAN I COMBINE PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) WITH ANOTHER FLEA TREATMENT?
    If you are currently using a monthly flea preventive and it fails, you may administer PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) daily, as needed, for quick relief against a flea infestation. PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) may also be used with flea shampoos, heartworm preventives, antibiotics, vaccines, and deworming medications.
  1. CAN I USE THE SAME PRODUCT ON MY DOG AND CAT?
    Yes. You may administer PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) for Small Dogs, 11.4 mg or PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) for Cats, 11.4 mg to dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens 4 weeks of age or older, 2-25 pounds of body weight. PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) tablets should be administered according to the dosing schedule on the label. Weigh your pet before administration to ensure proper dosing. Do not give PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) for Large Dogs over 25 pounds, 57.0 mg, to cats or small dogs.
  1. WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE FOR PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) ORAL FLEA TABLETS?
    PetArmor® CAPACTION® (nitenpyram) oral flea tablets expire after 3 years from the date of manufacture.
