Really works—just follow the directions

Really works. I had a renter in one of my units with a flea problem. Treated every room and no more problems! Will be part of my turnover process for each unit going forward.

Koca C.

Worked!

This finally got rid of the fleas. We tried everything else under the sun. We had to treat the carpet and furniture. They were gone fast. The smell is noticeable but not aggressive and a little goes a long way.

Alanna

Works well—leave it on the carpet before vacuuming

I sprinkle this on the rugs and leave it until we vacuum. I am very allergic to flea bites, so I use it in spring and summer. It definitely helps reduce the flea problem in the house when used with on-pet treatment as well.

Pets are family

Confident care starts at home

When fleas or ticks turn up on your pet, they've usually made themselves at home in your carpet too. PetArmor® helps you take the fight to where they hide, giving you quality protection for the whole household without booking a vet visit or rearranging your week.

The whole flea life cycle

More than just adult fleas

A single flea can lay up to 50 eggs a day, so treating only the adults leaves the next generation waiting in your carpet. PetArmor® Home Carpet Powder works on flea eggs, larvae, and pupae along with adult fleas and brown dog ticks—disrupting the cycle instead of chasing it.

Simple to use

Shake, wait, vacuum

No special equipment and no complicated routine. Shake the powder evenly over affected carpet, let it stay in place for 24 hours to do its work, then vacuum. Short on time? Wait at least an hour, then lightly vacuum visible surface powder—use as directed on the label.

How We Stack Up

PetArmor® Carpet Powder

Adult flea sprays

Vacuuming alone

Clear fleas from your carpet after finding them on your pet

Break the flea cycle, not just the surface

By targeting flea eggs, larvae, and pupae alongside adult fleas and brown dog ticks, it disrupts the life cycle in your carpet so an infestation has fewer places to rebound.

A fresher-smelling home

Flea treatment and lingering pet odors usually mean two products. This one folds in a pet odor eliminator and finishes with a clean, fresh scent, so your carpet feels cared for after every application.

A woman moves an ottoman to clear basement carpet while a border collie waits nearby.

Dependable value at home

One application keeps working for up to a year and covers 200 to 400 square feet, giving you a straightforward household staple that handles fleas and ticks without the cost of a vet visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Follow the label directions. Shake the powder evenly over affected carpet and keep the household off the treated area while it works—ideally for 24 hours before vacuuming. If you can't stay off the area that long, wait at least 1 hour, then lightly vacuum to remove visible surface powder. Using it as directed is the key to getting good results.

Stuff works I will keep using pet armor until I get all of these rotten bugs out.

We have 2 one year old cats locked them up in a room so they wouldn’t be in contact with powder. Used this product yesterday, didn’t have to much hope for pet armor to actually work. We’ve been having issues with fleas in the house cat scratching all the time, even had some bites on me. Really bad situation. Dusted the carpet with the powder and took a broom working the powder in, let it sit couple hours. Vacuumed the the carpet downstairs and the stairs and hallway first, after that wiped all the counters and any residue off just in case. Wasn’t sure if it was going to work. After vacuuming I put flea medicine on the cats neck they hate it. Went to bed and noticed they stopped itching soon after still wasn’t sure if it would work. So after all the the work this is the first time that we noticed that they were calm not scratching every few minutes. Don’t pay attention to instructions about 3x3 rug areas. I did all of the carpet til I ran out. Finally something to started working they slept all pretty well. I ran out ordered some more pet armor to spread on rest of the carpet upstairs. Seems to be working pretty good so far. Also used a spray for the furniture I’m going to stay after the problem til it solved. Dam bugs must be hitchhiking in my house on us. Killem all with pleasure.

Using for baby ticks/smells great

My cat went out and came back almost infested with baby ticks. It doesn’t say it’s good for all ticks, it says brown dog ticks. Not sure what those are but I use it anyway. It looks like it’s mainly good for fleas. This is my second time ordering this. I put it in my rugs, chairs and couches. Basically anywhere he walks or sits. So far I haven’t found anything on my furniture after using this. I sprinkle this everywhere and let it sit for a few days before I vacuum it. It comes out like a grainy powder but not like sand. It doesn’t stain my couches, it’s easy to vacuum and remove by hand. The best thing is it smells so good, it smells like a carpet refresher. There’s no downside to using it. Just don’t sprinkle it on your pet as my husband wanted to do lol. They’ll lick it off and get sick, I’m assuming.

My go to brand at the first sign of fleas

Effective on fleas for light infestation. The smell is actually pleasant and that's good because it is strong! It is a bit dusty. I know it suppose to be pet friendly but I still keep my cats in a different room when I use it ( I have trust issues lol). Doesn't seem to irritated anyone's skin or fur after using. Goes about as far as any other carpet dust.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best rug, hardwood floor & furniture powder with killing fleas

I have several indoor cats. This summer was particularly bad with fleas, it was a nightmare. Our cats had gotten the fleas from our sunroom during the summer/fall. I treated our cats but the fleas gotten in our house. I've been searching for a product that would help with the fleas. I've even bombed & sprayed our house and they still were there. Even tried natural spray stuff and nothing. I saw the reviews for Pet Armor so I gave it a try. Within hours I noticed a difference. I'm absolutely a firm believer in this product. I've spent hundreds of dollars on flea products and this by far is the best at killing them and their stages of life. I try to keep our house as tidy as possible and anyone with pets knows how hard it is to stop flea infestation. Thank you Pet Armor for helping in one day kill these fleas.

I hate fleas... So, I used this and...

Well, I helped a neighbor by making sure her cat had water when she was on vacation for a few weeks. Needless to say, as I didn't know that her place has fleas .. I came home found several on me and took my clothes off in the garage and jumped in the shower. I immediately found this and ordered it. In the meantime, I saw a flea on me when I went to bed that night, just one and freaked .. fleas love me but I don't love them! Must be my sweet blood.. lol... So, before I got this stuff, I put salt all over my carpet in my room, I put out some Eucalyptus Lemon oil in a glass jar because supposedly, the fleas don't like the smell... Anyways, I left the salt until I got this stuff and then sprinkled this stuff (smells good) all over my mattress and carpet and my house shoes and shut the door (no window open, no fan running), not even a light was on. I left it alone for 2 hours and went back in my room and sprinkled a bit more. I did wear a mask (like the kind we all had to wear during covid) and that way I didn't inhale it. I shut the door and left it for about 5 hours and then went in and vacuumed it up. I did it again the next day because I hate fleas .. I waited about 3 hours and vacuumed again. I did take all my bedding and washed it in hot water the first day by shoving it in a plastic bag and dumping it right into the washer .. yep, I freaked and probably over did it but ..this stuff so far worked. I am going to wait a week and do it again but very lightly sprinkle some on the carpet and vacuum it after a few hours. I really think that the fleas are gone, if I had bare floors, I would use this too... AND no, I don't have any pets... So, try it, it worked for me... 🤞 That I got rid of those dang fleas.

Most effective treatment.

OK, but brush into carpet, with stiff brush.Today, I used sprays, Knockout in bedroom and Petarmor spray in kitten room. I don't have door in kitten room, so I have to stand guard. For prior month, I used wondercide and other safe sprays on EVERYTHING, except cats. Helped immensely prior to Knockout. To speed drying, ceiling fan, 2 large pedestal fans and windows open wide*****

1000x yes!

After spending hundreds on flea treatments, Pet meds, shampoos, collars, multiple sprays that barely made a dent, this powder is the first product that actually made a real difference. With the first application, the flea population dropped sharply. After the second, working it in with a broom and vacuuming 24 hours later, the bites stopped. I was getting 10 to 30 bites a day even with my pet on treatment, and now, nothing. If you're desperate and exhausted, this is worth it. It's easy to use, effective, and honestly the only thing that turned this around after fighting fleas for 2 months!***BONUS*** It doesn't have that harsh chemical reek. It actually smells pleasant!

SATISFIED!!

I ordered for the reviews and agree with the positive reviews. Flea reduction? Flea removal! I raked my carpet and sprinkled this all over the baseboards, carpet, and under beds and chairs. I actually left it on for a few days before i vacuumed but during that time i have not experienced any flea/tick bites, no sites of them on the white sock test or anything. I am ordering two more cans for the next couple of weeks until feeling comfortable because what i went through is torture with the bites lol

Works well!

Worked really well, my cat had stubborn fleas that we couldn't get rid of. In combination of using this product for our carpets and some prescription grade flea treatment, we were able to completely rid of the fleas in our home. After vacuuming there would be fleas moving around in the dustpan, but would eventually die after sitting in there for a little while.Just for context, my cat was indoor/outdoor prior. After, we moved he is fully indoors now and has no exposure to fleas. Therefore, I cannot attest to pets who will remain outdoors or have contact with fleas regularly.

One Product Wasn’t Enough — Full Flea Treatment Worked Better

I noticed fleas on my dog and decided to take extra precautions instead of relying on just one product. I used flea carpet powder in the house, flea killer powder, flea spray for my dog, and gave my dog a thorough bath. After treatment, I only found two more fleas, and my dog stopped scratching nearly as much as before. In my experience, using only one flea product may not completely solve the problem because fleas can live in carpets, bedding, and furniture in addition to staying on your pet. Treating both the dog and the home environment made a much bigger difference for me. Vacuuming and cleaning regularly also helped remove any remaining fleas and eggs.I would recommend combining a few different flea prevention methods instead of depending on a single treatment alone. Using the bath, spray, carpet treatment, and cleaning routine together with a flea collar seemed to work much better and helped my dog become more comfortable quickly.
